what are your candles made from?
beeswax, tallow + coconut. that’s it for the wax blend.
we make every candle in small batches and pair our wax with carefully selected fragrance oils + wood wicks. no paraffin. no soy. just a candle made very intentionally because, apparently, we’re incapable of doing anything the easy way.
why beeswax + tallow + coconut?
because we wanted a candle that burned beautifully, smelled fucking good + was made from a wax blend we actually wanted burning in our own home.
each part of the blend has a job, and after a lot of testing (and probably an unreasonable amount of obsessing), this is where we landed.
how long do your candles burn?
burn time depends on the candle size, fragrance + how you burn it. proper wick trimming and not burning your candle for excessively long stretches will help you get the most out of it.
how should i care for my candle?
trim your wood wick to about 1/4" before each burn. let the wax melt close to the edges of the vessel, especially during the first few burns, and avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time.
keep your candle away from drafts, kids, pets + anything flammable. never leave a burning candle unattended.
why does my candle look a little different from the last one?
because they're made by actual humans, not a giant candle robot. 😂
our candles are poured in small batches using natural waxes, so slight variations in color, texture + finish can happen. it doesn't affect how your candle performs — it's just part of making things this way.
do you offer samples?
not right now. we’ve played with the idea, though, so never say never.
do you ship internationally?
not yet. currently, we ship within the united states.
how long does shipping take?
orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days. once your order ships, you'll receive tracking information so you can follow it all the way home.
what is your return policy?
because candles are a consumable product, all sales are generally final. if your order arrives damaged, defective or something just isn't right, please contact us so we can make it right.
can i pick up my order locally?
not currently. because fa. operates out of a private studio, we don't offer local pick up at this time. if that changes someday, you'll be the first to know.
do you offer local delivery?
yes. local delivery is available for eligible addresses within our delivery area. if your address qualifies, you'll see the option at checkout.
